March 2025
Happy to announce that I'm having a drawing featured in the Spring 2025 issue of The Nemadji Review! Due to publish in May, the theme is “The Human Experience: Love, Longing, and Loss.” The Nemadji Review is a student-run literary magazine at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. This literary journal is a celebration of contributors. Otherwise, I've been busy making mini comics and just published the 2nd edition of Whatever you wish to keep!

On May 13th I joined Christi Furnas at Magers & Quinn Booksellers in Uptown Minneapolis. We talked about her autobiographically-inspired graphic novel Crazy Like a Fox. I was honored to be a part of her book launch! Such a cool book - check it out!

I've been awarded a MN State Arts Board grant to work on my next book! Thankful & excited! Also psyched that I have a 2-page nonfiction comic in the "Color" issue of The Nib! Find out why hair color changes!
June 2022
I've been interviewed on the Sequential Artists Workshop Blog! The June SAW Student Interview features yours truly and includes a work in progress: one of my "Gruesome Tales" vignettes that are scattered throughout Snow Emergency Route. I talk about the practice and influences, and encourage fellow adoptees to tell their story.

The Sequential Artists Workshop has just published 2 anthologies that I'm happy to say include my work! The first is a 2-pager about my elderly father's bout with Covid-19 in Socially Distant - SAW Pandemic Comics Anthology (update: this has sold out). Honored and grateful to be a recipient of an INDIVIDUAL ARTIST PROJECT GRANT from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council! This provides support for the completion of my current graphic memoir in-progress.
